Visit the Co-op on Friday, August 22nd from 3-5pm to discover Whitetail Ridge Vineyard, Coventina Vineyards, and Jaxon Vineyards at the tasting table and sample this trio of local wines!
Whitetail Ridge Vineyard is a family owned vineyard in the beautiful Umpqua Valley in Roseburg, Oregon. Poised nearly a thousand feet above the valley, Whitetail Ridge Vineyard takes full advantage of the strong summer sun that warms the mineral-rich mountain soil throughout the day. In the evening, fresh breezes from the nearby Coastal range gently cool the fruit, allowing it to mature more slowly while it develops the distinct flavors and complex aromatics so highly prized from high elevation sites. They hand-pick their grapes and process at the peak of ripeness to yield the freshest, most favorable wines possible.
Coventina Vineyards passion is to create exquisite wines that enrich and delight all who drink them. They are dedicated to upholding the highest organic standards and practices to produce wines of exceptional quality that can be savored with great pleasure. Coventina wines are the liquid essence of streaming sunlight, clear water, superior grapes, and the rich earth from which they grow. Enjoy samples of their Pinot Noir and Tempranillo.
Jaxon Vineyards wines are made from fruit harvested from the vineyards of the picturesque Rogue Valley. Jaxon embraces thoughtful dedication and environmentally responsible farming practices to their rows of Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Tempranillo, Syrah, Grenache, and Viognier. Their varietals of French and Spanish heritage pay tribute to old world practices, while their vines thrive in a terror that is uniquely Southern Oregon. Enjoy samples of their Chardonnay and Rosé.
