Coalición Fortaleza exists to strengthen and empower Latine and immigrant communities by building pathways to economic opportunity, cultural belonging, and collective well-being. They support entrepreneurs and families through culturally rooted programs, community markets like El Mercadito, and trusted partnerships that expand access to education, financial literacy, and essential resources. Their work is centered on creating safe, inclusive spaces where people can grow businesses, build leadership, and thrive together as a community.
Funds will be used to support El Mercadito community markets and year-round programming. Funds support entrepreneur development through workshops, financial literacy classes, and access-to-capital education, as well as stipends and supplies for community partners who lead youth and family activities. Resources ensure that El Mercadito can continue reducing barriers for entrepreneurs, expanding access to vital resources, and sustaining a community-led space that builds economic opportunity, belonging, and cultural celebration in the Rogue Valley.
