Positive Change for SoHumane

Round up in August to help improve the lives of local pets and people!

SoHumane is dedicated to improving the lives of pets and people through shelter, care, adoption, and reducing the pet overpopulation through spay/neuter, along with public education programs to promote the compassionate and responsible treatment of animals.

Adoption services include spay/neuter, vaccination, and microchipping.

3% Cover the Fee

Each month, the selected non-profit organization receives 100% of the donated Positive Change funds, plus an additional grant from the Co-op.

They help relieve local shelters from overcrowding, and take the harder-to-adopt animals, like seniors, and special needs animals, giving them all the treatment and time they need. In March of 2020, SoHumane started a new program called the pet food pantry, offering a "drive-through" free pet food option for the community.

Positive Change funds will be used to support dogs and cats in the adoption program that require much needed medical care before they can find their forever homes.
