Buy local. Go local. Support local. But what does local mean?
Here at Medford Food Co-op, we define local as food or goods grown or manufactured within a 100 mile radius from our location.
When you buy local, you directly contribute to a stable local economy, create jobs, maintain the uniqueness of your region, and reduce the environmental impact of your purchasing. For more information about why to buy local and for a list of local businesses and food producers, visit the THRIVE (The Rogue Initiative for a Vital Economy) website: www.buylocalrogue.org.
